Marware Eco-Vue Cover for Kindle Touch

I recently returned the Jivo case I had ordered for my new Kindle Touch, as I did not care for the way it felt when I held it and did not feel it provided sufficient protection. Amazon gave me a full refund, and I replaced it with the Marware “Eco-Vue” cover in black.

I find this cover more comfortable to hold (even though it adds a bit more weight), like the additional padding it provides, and the elastic strap will hold it securely closed in while commuting in my backpack. I don’t really care to use the elasticized thingamajig on the inside of the cover that is provided to allow you to more securely hold your Kindle one-handed while reading, but it’s there for those who might like it. The Kindle itself is secured via four elastic straps at the corners, each with a bit of leather trim. (I’m not sure if that is just cosmetic, or if it is intended to reduce potential wear on the elastic.)

At the same price as the Jivo case (currently $34.99), I think you get quite a bit more for the money with this cover, and I have no hesitation recommending it to others who don’t want to spend nearly as much as they did on their Kindle to get a fancy leather case.

I use this marware cover for the Kindle Fire and like it; especially the hand cover to hold the Fire while typing or web surfing.

You can also buy a Kindle Cover with build in light. I’m considering buying that.
